For individuals wishing to be members of the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults in a parish

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Office of Faith Formation will host a Facilitator Workshop for the team members of the Order/Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults.

During these sessions, we will present the first part of the three-part track of the Catechumenal Ministry (RCIA) Track by Franciscan At Home. This workshop will provide preparation for all involved in the process of conversion to the Catholic Faith. It will be focused on the liturgical, catechetical, and pastoral components which are key in the formation of newcomers to the Catholic faith.

Location: St. Anne R. C. Church, Brentwood, 88 2nd Ave, Brentwood NY 11717
Dates: Saturdays, December 3, 10, 2022, January 21, and 28, 2023
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Cost: No charge

The Good Shepherd Hospice has an upcoming Child and Family Bereavement Program, CONNECTIONS.

Good Shepherd Hospice offers a FREE, professionally run, 8-week bereavement group program for children ages 5-17 years old and their caregivers who have experienced a death of a loved one.

Children engage in therapeutic activities that encourage emotional healing, increase understanding, development of healthy coping skills, and preservation of memories.

Adult caregivers attend their own concurrent support group, where they will learn about the nature of their children’s grief and how to best support them

Meeting is open to all Diocese Directors, Parish Youth Ministers and Organizational Leaders who work in Youth Ministry.

While this is a meeting of the Region 2 NFCYM members, it is open to anyone in ministry regardless of current NFCYM status.

LOCATION:
Accommodations are double (2 twin beds per room, common shared bathroom) at Lake Champion (Young Life) Camp (247 Mohican Lake Rd., Glen Spey, NY 12737)

TIME:
Meeting will begin at 9am on Wednesday, 5/24 and end at 11:30 am on Thursday, 5/25
Encouraged but optional to come on Tues evening after dinner in time for a social and stay overnight.

COST:
1 night, 5 meals= $99.75 per person (Wed-Thur)
2 nights, 5 meals= $159.75 per person (Tues-Thurs)
