Office of Adult Formation

Now more than ever we realize that Catholic adult education and faith formation is a lifelong process that you and I, by virtue of our baptism into Christ, are called to embrace. This process is an ongoing opportunity for transformation as you:

  • receive the grace of the Spirit;
  • grow in your knowledge of the faith in Scripture and Church teachings;
  • move deeper into Sunday Eucharist and sacramental life;
  • receive moral formation in Jesus Christ;
  • learn how to pray, serve, and live in a faith community;
  • commit to participate actively in the life and mission of the Church.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you in this most important area of your life of faith. Please be sure to explore these very worthwhile options to be faithful to your own baptismal call to begin or to continue growing in your faith as adult members of our Church on Long Island. These options include our own , DRVC School of Missionary Disciples, the Basic and Advanced Course in Religious Education, and the Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation (VLCFF) offered by the University of Dayton, and the Masters program at our Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Huntington.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions.
