Rainbows Notre Dame Parish
Rainbows is a FREE 12-week peer-support group for children and adolescents between the ages of 5 through 18 experiencing a loss in their immediate family through death, separation, divorce, military
deployment, or any painful transition. Support groups are separated by age and run by caring, trained
adults.
The goal of Rainbows is to provide a place for children to sort through and understand their grief. Meet others who are going through a similar family circumstance and help the children come to a healthy
acceptance of what happened to their family. Children who complete the Rainbows program develop lifelong coping skills that they carry well into adulthood.
