Office of Divorced Catholics
If you are a Catholic who is separated or divorced, it is important for you to know that you are a warmly welcomed member of the Catholic Church! We are here to support you and your family in any way we can. Our office of Family Ministry keeps you up-to-date on support groups and workshops that are held in parishes, and offers you resources and information on diocesan programs such as the annulment process, retreat days, and programs for children. We also offer facilitator training for individuals who would like to learn how to start their own support groups at their parish in order to better assist individuals coping with the challenges of separation and divorce. There will also likely be areas that are more important to each of you and a certified divorce mediator can help prioritize them.
