Wonderfully Made Mother and Daughter Tea

In light of the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have made the difficult decision to reschedule the Mother Daughter Tea, please check new date below.
This Mother/Daughter tea will introduce the Catholic Church’s teaching regarding Human Dignity and how we respond to God’s call to live a life of virtue. The Mother and Daughter will look at how they are a “Wonderfully Made” creation of God. They will begin to dialogue between Mother and Daughter regarding how they are to live a life that exemplifies this out in the world.
We welcome Mothers (or a mother figure*) and their daughter (5th grade through 8th grade)
*Anyone who serves as a mother figure, for example
(Grandmother, Aunt, etc.), is welcome to join us.
Dates and Locations:
Sunday, May 3, 2020 – St. Rosalie – 31 E Montauk Hwy, Hampton Bays, NY 11946 (map)
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
$25.00 for mother/daughter
$5.00 for each additional young lady
$5.00 for each additional adult female, must accompany a regristrant
Light Lunch: English Afternoon Tea (scones, light sandwiches, tea and juice)

Guest Speaker: Bertha Peralta Rodriguez
Bertha Peralta-Rodriguez has been a catechist and youth minister for over 20 years. She is a devoted wife as well as a mother to an 11 year old “diva”. Bertha leads talks, workshops and discussions in order to encourage others towards a better understanding that they are a wonderful gift created by God. She received her Masters in Counseling from Fordham University, and currently works at Hunter College.
Mrs. Peralta-Rodriguez is a catechist for the Confirmation program at Our Lady Queen of Angels in Sunnyside, Queens and is also an instructor for the School of Missionary Disciples for the Diocese of Rockville Centre.
