Spirituality and Catholic Social Justice Teaching @ St. Brigid

This course will introduce the seven themes of Catholic Social Teaching (CST) and help participants explore the relationship between spirituality and CST. It is hoped that attendees will come to appreciate the breadth of Catholic Social Teaching and see it connected to and integrated with a vibrant Catholic spirituality and sense of missionary discipleship. The church’s social teaching, born from Scripture and the long Tradition of the church, impacts the human capacity to understand, promote and protect human dignity and the basic rights all persons have as children of God.
