Liturgy Series: The Gospel of John in Liturgy
Seminary-Immaculate Conception
Lloyd Harbor,NY 11743
USA

The Unending Symphony Liturgy Series continues with The Gospel of John in Liturgy with Rev. Msgr. Andrzej Zglejszewski.
The objective of this course is to explore the importance of the Johannine Scriptures in liturgical celebrations and Christian spirituality. Critical analysis of the composition and authorship of the Gospel of John will be fundamental in exploring crucial characteristics and questions in Johannine theology, including:
- Christology
- Ecclesiology
- Sacramentalism
- Eschatology
A careful exegesis of texts will be placed in the context of their significance in leading us to a deeper understanding and appreciation of liturgical celebrations, catechetical insights, and sacramental practice.
This 15-hour course takes place over five Saturdays: October 26, November 2, 9, 23, and December 7, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Please bring along your own Bible of choice.
All are welcome. Course is open to all interested adults. No prerequisites required.
