Virtual Posadas Day 4: Prayer Journaling
We will prayer journal on the meaning of shelter and protection. This activity requires a pen, paper, and markers (if available).

Virtual Posadas Day 5: Livestreamed Activity: Making Posadas Tamales and Champurrado
During Virtual Posadas join ISN’s director of education & advocacy for migration, José Arnulfo Cabrera, and his mom as they make tamales and Champurrado, two traditional Posadas dishes, live! We’ll send you an ingredients list to make your own!

We will learn more about the devastating effects of the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP).

Virtual Posadas Day 7: Giving Posada: How Kino Border Initiative Welcomes Asylum Seekers
We hear from Sean Carroll, S.J., executive director of the Kino Border Initiative.

Virtual Posadas Day 8: Providing Shelter: How Bellarmine Chapel is Welcoming Asylum Seekers
We hear from the Merche family on their experience of receiving asylum at Bellarmine Chapel, as well as perspectives on how to provide shelter from the Bellarmine Chapel immigration team.

Virtual Posadas Day 9: Closing Reflection
We are joined by Dr. Cecilia González-Andrieu, profeessor of theological studies at Loyola Marymount University, for a closing prayerful reflection on the Holy Family.
