Professional Day Fall 2015 – Photos

Over 100 Catechetical leaders gathered at the Seminary in Huntington for a Professional Day.

Our presenter was Dr. Hosffman Ospino, teaches Pastoral Theology and Religious Education at Boston’s College’s School of Theology and Ministry where he is also the Director of Graduate Programs in Hispanic Ministry. Dr. Ospino’s research and writings focus on the conversation between faith and culture. He is a recognized national and international speaker.
He has written and edited several books as well as several dozens of articles on Hispanic ministry, culturally diverse parishes, and religious education. Dr. Ospino served as the principal investigator for the groundbreaking National Study of Catholic Parishes with Hispanic Ministry, whose report was recently published by Our Sunday Visitor, and the first National Survey of Catholic Schools Serving Hispanic Families –to be published by Our Sunday Visitor in English and Spanish at the end of 2015.

It was a wonderfully informative and eye-opening day. We even discussed the idea of Dr Ospino returning for a week long class during the summer.

He is a wealth of knowledge and has a gift for sharing this knowledge.

So glad, so many were able to attend.
