Saturday, September 22, 2007
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
St. John the Baptist High School, West Islip
Mass at 9:00 a.m. with Bishop Murphy

Cornerstone Conference 2007 will address the far reaching and complex issues of Family Ministry. It is designed as an enrichment day for parish staff members, parish volunteers and all those interested in examining the multifaceted question, “What is Family Ministry?” The day will be filled with Mass celebrated by Bishop Murphy, a keynote presentation, twenty-seven diverse workshops, exhibits by publishers working in the family ministry area, and information sessions.

Our first annual conference will provide a day of enrichment for PARISH STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS involved in Family ministry, Marriage preparation and enrichment, Baptism ministries, AND FOR EVERYONE who attends or wants to learn more about Support groups for singles, separated, divorced and widowed. Course offerings in Spanish and American Sign Language.

The elements of a “relationship-centered perspective” as a component of the life-long process of faith formation will be discussed.

Mass with Bishop Murphy will begin the day followed by a light breakfast and keynote speaker. Participants have the opportunity to register for workshops offered by qualified presenters. For more information on the day, workshops, presenters, and to register, click here.

We look forward to seeing you.
